Welcome to Dis-section.

Dis-section is a practice whose focus is on the instructional logic and formal beauty of architecture, industrial design, web design, and information visualization. These goals are articulated through investigations into repetitious systems, cultural reflectivity, and change-in-state systems.

Commissioned works and speculative projects operate as a methodology for the practice of these ideals. Dis-section treats each project as a one-off, a singular investigatory design influenced by specific sets of conditions and parameters.

Dis-section, founded by Robert Trempe, typically operates as a solo-based practice. From time to time, collaborations with others who share the same passions for design result in collaborative works that share the same vision.
